Welcome to Written by Jess Moreton

A personal blog consisting of all my writing! Ranging from short stories, reviews and personal updates.

My writing journey

I first started writing at the age of 11. Like a lot of writers my age, I first got into writing by writing fanfiction, but that eventually developed into me creating my own worlds, characters and universes for me to play in. In December 2020, at age 15, I completed my first novel. Following on from that, I went on to complete two more novels: 444 in April 2021, and Y.S.B in February 2022.

Since then, I have been experimenting with different forms of writing including flash fiction, short fiction, poetry and also writing reviews! I am also in the process of re-writing my very first novel.
